Abstract

Competence of students of Information Technology and Computer Technology in the basic concepts of programming has not yet fully achieved the expected results. The problem is due to the lack of time in the learning process, limited ability to access devices that support practical laboratories, and the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Efforts to overcome this gap by conducting training in the field of computer programming. This training is designed to be carried out outside of lecture time. The training process is carried out outside of lecture time providing broad opportunities for students as training participants. This training is also designed so that it can be carried out interactively via the internet. The interactive training process requires media by utilizing e-learning technology known as web-based training technology. Web-based training media has succeeded in facilitating learning and also demonstrating practical activities. The media produced in this study is a web-based interactive multimedia.

Abstract

Many factors affect student learning outcomes, one of which is relevant supporting teaching materials, especially in the field of accounting, which requires not only an understanding of theory but also much practice. For this reason, it is necessary to develop learning tools that contain material and support student practicum. This study aims to determine the feasibility of the problem-based introductory accounting practicum module. This study uses research and development (R&D) methods using the Borg and Gall model with ten stages. However, in this case, it is only presented up to stage 4 (four), namely product validation. The practicum module products that have been produced are then tested for feasibility by three validators who are experts in the field of Accounting. The results of the product feasibility test concluded that the problem-based introductory accounting practicum module was in the very feasible category with a percentage level of 87.1 percent from the three validators. This research shows that the practicum module produced is proven to be suitable for use in learning, but it is still necessary to carry out a series of further research stages.

PROBLEM BASED LEARNING MODEL BASED ON FLIPPED CLASSROOM: EFFECTIVE STRATEGIES TO INCREASE STUDENT LEARNING ACTIVITY IN ONLINE LEARNING
Joko Suharianto- Arwansyah- Muammar Rinaldi

State University of Medan

Abstract

The application of this problem-based learning model is actually designed to be applied in face-to-face learning under normal conditions. This means that this PBL model is more effectively carried out in face-to-face learning, so there needs to be collaboration in the application of the PBL model in this online learning. The purpose of this study is to see a comparison of student learning activity by applying a flipped classroom-based problem-based learning model as treatment I, a problem-based learning model as treatment II. This research is a quasi-experiment using an independent sample t test. This research was conducted on students of the economic education study program in semester VI in the poverty economics course T.A. 2021/2022 with class B which amounted to 42 as treatment I and class A which amounted to 28 as treatment II. The results of this study concluded that there was a difference in student learning activity with the acquisition of Sig scores. of 0.013 < 0.05, then Ha is accepted. This means that the learning activity of students who use the flipped classroom-based PBL model is significantly higher than the active learning of students using PBL alone. The application of the flipped classroom-based PBL model maximizes syntax III, namely individual and group investigations of students. This is because the problem orientation material, and the study of the problems of each group have been instructed at the previous meeting, so that at the next meeting the application of PBL in phase III has been carried out independently outside the classroom. The impact is that the time division of each teaching syntax is more effective, discussions are more lively, and students are dominantly active.

3. Prodi Sastra Indonesia, Unimed

Abstract

This development research aims to produce teaching materials for discourse analysis with the Teun A. Van Dijk model. The data analysis unit was studied based on Kompas TV^s Youtube video with the topic ^Buya Syafii Dalam Kenangan: Membumikan Pancasila^ which contains issues of identity and multiculturalism. From this model, the results of the analysis were developed into a teaching material module for the discourse analysis course for students of the 6th semester Indonesian Literature study program at the Faculty of Language and Arts, Medan State University.
Teaching materials are an important component in instructional learning where the material in the module will guide students to learn independently and structured. The module developed will contain teaching materials, the theory of Teun A. Van Dijk^s discourse analysis model, training materials taken related to issues of identity and multiculturalism. This teaching material will contribute to the achievement of student CPMK to the maximum.
The research method used is the research and development method of the Borg and Gall model. The first step taken is to conduct a needs analysis where the importance of developing teaching materials that have not been carried out so far has not been carried out. The stages of Borg and Gall development research are more simplified with several stages including the data collection stage (initial study), initial product development, and product validation tests, product revisions and then product trials.
The resulting product will be in the form of a printed learning module with ISBN which can be a reference for students of the Indonesian Literature study program in Learning.
