Abstract
The demands of the modern workplace have the tendency of employees to engage in work, even without written contractual obligations in place. The advancement in digital technology encourages an ^always on^ culture, blurring the line between work and family life. The recent covid-19 pandemic has forced the use of mobile technology to perform work tasks among employees. Little is known about the impact of the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) outside work hours on work-family outcomes. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of work-related ICT use outside work hours (WRICT) and work-family enrichment (WFE) experienced by non-academics^ employees in Malaysia. Specifically, the moderating roles of integration preference were considered in investigating the relationship between work-related ICT use outside work hours on WFE. A quantitative research approach was adopted, and an online survey was used to collect data. The sample consisted of non-academics from a public university in Malaysia (n = 690). Two statistical programs were used for the data analysis: Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) and Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of the research revealed a positive effect between work-related ICT use outside work hours on WFE. Furthermore, the results revealed that integration preference significantly moderated the relationship between WRICT and WFE. The study^s findings provide an insight into the work-related ICT use outside work hours and work-family outcomes as practiced by the non-academic employees of Malaysian Higher Education.

Contemporary State of Human Resource Development in Bangladesh: Perspectives from Employees Sheikh Rashid Bin Islam
Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies, Kobe University, Japan
Abstract
Human capital is one of the most vital driving forces for any organization. The responsibility of increasing the quality of human capital or human resources (HR) of an organization is often termed human resource development (HRD). Through HRD, organizations develop the skills, knowledge, and abilities of their HR, which in turn assists the organizations to be more effective. Hence, HRD can be considered of great importance for both organizations and HR themselves. Considering its importance, it can be highly recommended for all organizations to carry out HRD, especially those in developing countries. However, many organizations in developing countries have not been able to provide an adequate amount of HRD. The reason behind this lack of HRD is often overlooked. The case is quite similar for Bangladesh, a developing country, with a large working population yet a low Human Capital Index score. Moreover, there have been very few or close to no studies conducted on this issue in Bangladesh, hence leaving a knowledge gap. This study intends to fill this gap by understanding the contemporary state of HRD in Bangladesh from the perceptive of employees. It does so by utilizing a sequential explanatory design mixed methodology. The sample size for this study is 168. The results of the study show that the employees want more opportunities for HRD, yet very few opportunities are provided by their employers. The employees feel their employers do so for-profit maximization, but they also feel that the employers fail to understand how HRD could further maximize profit due to more qualified HR. In conclusion, the employees feel their employers should provide more HRD opportunities, which in turn will benefit them and their employers alike.

Analysis of the Effect of Export Bans and Copper Export Taxes in Indonesia using the GTAP Model Farel Andeni, Ria Vinola K. Cahyadi, Aldi Ramadan Manullang, Ahmad Fandi, Putri Ayu*
Andalas University
Abstract
The implementation of the 2015 ASEAN Economic Community and policies such as optimizing the provision of fiscal incentives, resolving investment obstacles, and guaranteeing the supply of raw materials and energy are efforts that can be made to achieve the target of increasing added value. Jokowi^s speech at the PDIP 50th anniversary event on January 10 2023 revealed that even though Indonesia lost to the WTO in restricting nickel exports, he would have the courage to limit copper in mid-2023. This research aims to analyze the impact of export bans and taxes. Copper Exports in Indonesia with the GTAP Model. The method used in this research is the multiregional CGE model. The data sources from GTAP-10 consist of 160 countries and 68 sectors combined into 14 regions and eight sectors. The aggregate region consists of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, China, India, South Korea and the rest of the world. The simulation used in the export ban is 30% of the total (simulation 1) and 100% of the total export (simulation 2), while the export tax simulation uses three simulations, 10%, 30%, and 100%. The results show that the effect of the export ban on the Value of Global Merchandise Imports in simulations 1 and 2 resulted in the mining, manufacturing, transportation, and construction sectors experiencing an increase, the gas sector experiencing a decline. In contrast, the agricultural and services sectors did not change. The effect of the export ban on the Value of Global Merchandise Exports In simulations 1 and 2, the mining, manufacturing, and construction sectors experienced an increase, the gas and transportation sectors experienced a decrease. In contrast, the agricultural and services sectors did not change. Indonesia^s Value of GDP decreased but Indonesia^s Change in Trade Balance increased. The 100% export ban causes further declines in the market price of commodities in sectors gass, agriculture, service, transportation, and construction, except for the value mining and manufacturing sectors. If we look at the export tax, the simulation causes the Value of Global Merchandise Imports and Exports to decrease, the market Price of Commodity in all sectors increases, and the GDP of value increases, but the Trade Balance decreases. So, the export ban policy can have a positive impact on the mining and manufacturing sectors, meaning that downstream for these sectors is successful, it only needs the government^s role in empowering finances and expertise to achieve benefits in other sectors so that the value of GDP increases. If the government implements an export tax, there will be an increase in prices and an increase in the value of GDP. The government needs to help the lower classes with subsidies or assistance so that the value of real income does not decrease.

Strategy for Increasing Exports Through ICT Development and Potential Market Mapping: Case Study of Indonesia Labor Intensive Industries Akbar Pratama Kartika, Prof. Rossanto Dwi Handoyo, Dr. Unggul Heriqbaldi
Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Airlangga University
Abstract
The presence of ICT as a modern communication system has a vital role in all human life, especially in the business aspect. Several studies have proven that ICT has an essential role as a solution to geographic distance which is often considered an obstacle in the international trade process. Based on this phenomenon, this research aims to specifically identify the role of ICT in the export performance of Indonesian labor-intensive industries. The analysis was carried out by developing a gravity model and estimated using the Pseudo Poisson Maximum-Likelihood (PPML) and Generalized Method of Moment (GMM) methods as robustness tests. The estimation results show that ICT, both from the quantity aspect and the quality aspect, has a positive and significant impact on the volume of Indonesian exports. The results of this estimation have been proven to be consistent through several tests by controlling the problems of endogeneity, simultaneity, and auto-correlation. As a further analysis and export development strategy, this study calculates the potential partner ratio which can be used as a reference for the main export destinations for Indonesian labor-intensive industries.

Abstract
The emergence of technological disruption has led to new innovations in investment instruments. Cryptocurrency is one of the most profitable digital investment options. The emergence of Islamic cryptocurrency is expected to attract Muslim investors amid the issue of contradiction from Islamic law and Sharia compliance. This study aims to analyze the antecedents of Muslim investor acceptance of cryptocurrency investment intention by connecting the moderating influence of Islamic financial literacy. The research approach used the Decomposed Theory of Planned Behavior. The population was Muslim investors who had invested in cryptocurrency through applications such as Binance, Tokocrypto, Indodax, and Pintu. The research area was Soloraya (7 regencies). The sample was obtained from 190 respondents using random sampling with a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used PLS-SEM. The results show that Islamic financial literacy can moderate the attitude and subjective norms toward the intention of Muslim investors to invest in cryptocurrency. Islamic financial literacy has a weakening effect on the attitude of Muslim investors in investing in cryptocurrency, while financial literacy has a strengthening effect on subjective norms of Muslim investors towards cryptocurrency investment. Meanwhile, perceived behavioral control is not able to moderate Muslim investors towards the intention to invest in cryptocurrency. The implication of this study is to recommend that academics and practitioners conduct a comprehensive study of the discourse of Islamic law and cryptocurrency, to develop a blueprint for Islamic cryptocurrency investment that is fully compliant with Shariah.

Abstract
This study aims to find out what are the challenges and opportunities in the development of green sukuk and what is the role of green sukuk in driving the rate of investment for green economic growth. The research method used is a systematic literature review with secondary data obtained from 15 relevant references on the topic of green financing and green sukuk to answer research questions. The results show that green sukuk is an innovative Islamic financial instrument not only for its role in the economic aspect but also can have an impact on environmental aspects. However, in its development there are still challenges that must be resolved such as the lack of promotion from the government regarding this instrument and the low public awareness of the importance of sharia investment which has a correlation with environmental improvement. Therefore, cooperation and collaboration is needed from various parties such as regulators, practitioners, academics, and the public so that the development of green sukuk becomes more massive.

Abstract
The dynamics of the Islamic capital market is not an isolated activity from economic activities outside the capital market. Because it has an important role in supporting economic development in a country, especially Indonesia. The increase and decrease in the performance of the Indonesian sharia capital market (JKISSI) is influenced by various factors, both internal and external. Internally, JKISSI is influenced by domestic macroeconomic variables, while externally, the economic conditions of foreign countries also influence JKISSI movements. This research aims to analyze the relationship between the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (JKISSI) and the Dow Jones Islamic Market Turkey Index (DJIMTR), the Dow Jones Islamic Market China/Hong Kong Titans 30 Index (DJICHK), and the Dow Jones Islamic World Malaysia Titans 25 Index (DJMY25). The method used in this research is the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM), with a monthly time series from January 2016 to May 2022. The research results show that in the short term all independent variables have no significant effect on JKISSI. Meanwhile, in the long term, DJIMTR and DJICHK have a significant negative influence on JKISSI. Meanwhile, DJMY25 has a significant positive influence on JKISSI.

Shariah Financial Inclusion Improvement Strategy through Islamic Boarding School Business Unitsmit This Sample Abstract Brian Pratistha (a*), Megawati Suharsono Putri (b), Adelia Oktarina (b), Ahmad Syafiq Kamil (b), Syarah Siti Supriyanti (b)to Submit This Sample Abstract
Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia
Abstract
In the latest survey results released by the Financial Service Authority in 2022 explained that the Islamic financial inclusion score in Indonesia is still at 12.12%, thus creating a large space for immediate improvement. In this study, we evaluated the large role of the Islamic Boarding School (ISB) business unit as a hub. We designed an empowerment model that is equipped with an implementation strategy and risk management. The empowerment model was built through a questionnaire survey process in 485 ISB business units- interviews with management in 14 business units, leaders in 14 ISB, management in 14 ISB cooperatives, management in 7 Islamic financial institutions- and involving 25 resource persons through FGDs. We found that the empowerment model requires continuous interaction between actors in the ecosystem and the role of cooperatives as another epicenter that acts as a product aggregator as well as an off taker. Another significant finding is the Decision Support System related to Government assistance intervention. We conclude that the ISB business unit can become a hub with the support of its ecosystem interactions.

Faculty Of Economics And Business, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia
Abstract
Visual impairment and eye diseases can have a significant impact on a person^s vision-related quality of life. This is due to the important role vision plays in daily life, including in a wide range of social activities, work, mobility, and the ability to enjoy the world around us. This study aimed to analyse the decline in quality of life in the visually impaired population in Indonesia as influenced by the impact of vision impairment and eye disease. Abstract
For Muslims, their identity isn^t solely confined to Islamic religious beliefs- it also encompasses how traditions, customs, and ^urf (cultural practices) impact their conduct, including financial management. This study aimed at elaborating the implementation of Islamic wealth management (IWM) within Middle-Class Muslim households in Yogyakarta. This paper conducted descriptive qualitative method and adopted an ethnographic approach to gain a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the subject. The study encompassed all Muslim households in Yogyakarta Province, with purposive sampling method to select 23 Muslim households. The sample criteria include being Muslim, having income, falling within the income range of 1-6 million rupiah, and being born and residing in Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research findings show that not all Muslim households engage in family financial planning. Only six respondents reported that they had conducted family financial planning, whereas the others acknowledged that they had not engaged in structured financial planning, even though some of them had saved money and given to charity, in addition to meeting their daily expenses. Besides, some Javanese value and beliefs are also Inherent within themselves, for example ^nerimo ing pandum^, ^Kegedhen Empyak kurang cagak^, ^gemi, nastiti, ngati-ati^. This philosophy of life is in line with Islamic teachings and is practiced in everyday life, including in financial management. Frugal living, saving and the habit of sharing are some of the values that characterize the financial management of Muslim households in Yogyakarta. However, this research further found that in millennial households, there is a shift in values and traditions which are influenced by modern lifestyles. The research findings also revealed that a significant portion of the population remains unfamiliar with Sharia-compliant financial services, such as Sharia banks and Islamic investments (such as Islamic stocks and sukuk). From a practical standpoint, this suggests an opportunity for Sharia financial institutions to promote financial literacy about Sharia-compliant options among the predominantly Muslim middle-class population in Indonesia. Meanwhile, from an academic standpoint, it provides insights into how societal culture and religion shape financial management practice. This research also has the potential to support the incorporation of cultural values into the framework of IWM.

Abstract
Using panel data from 22 OIC member countries, this study examines the role of institutional quality and human resources on the Islamic banking industry^s performance. The findings indicate that regulatory quality and government effectiveness as proxies for institutional quality have different effects, with regulatory quality having a robust and consistent negative effect on asset growth and total financing. Meanwhile, government effectiveness has a positive impact. This demonstrates that government quality is required to support the development of Islamic banks, but it should be noted that overly strict and rigid regulations will stifle business development. Furthermore, quality human resources improve Islamic bank performance, demonstrating the importance of quality human resources in supporting good governance.
