The Role of the Work Environment, Employee Competency and Job Satisfaction in Improving the Performance of Bondowoso Class II B Prison Toni Herlambang, Mamatrono, Abadi Sanosra, Dwi Cahyono, Nurul Qomariah

Abstract
Every organization, whether government-owned or private, must pay attention to the performance of each of its employees. Employee performance is an indicator of the success of an organization. This research has the first objective, namely to determine and analyze the impact of the work environment on employee performance. The second research objective is to determine and analyze the impact of work competency on employee performance. Meanwhile, the aim of the final research is to determine and analyze the impact of job satisfaction on employee performance. This research was conducted on Class II B Bondowoso Prison employees with a total of 68 employees who were also used as samples using the saturated sampling method. Descriptive analysis was carried out to find out the description of the respondents. Validity tests and data reliability tests were carried out to test the measuring instruments in this research. To test the research hypothesis, a hypothesis test was carried out. The research results show that the work environment has a positive impact on employee performance. Competency also has an impact on employee performance. Meanwhile, job satisfaction also influences employee performance at Prison II, Bondowoso Regency.
