Abstract
This research investigates the role of tax avoidance on the relationship between corporate governance and corporate social responsibility with firm value. The research design is explanatory research, through hypothesis testing, with a research sample of 175 manufacturing companies observed during the 2017 - 2021 period, with a sample size of 875. Analysis technique by using panel regression with SPSS software. The research findings after conducting robustness tests of the model, using leverage as a control variable, robustly show Institutional ownership and Corporate Social Responsibility of Economic (CSR) influence tax avoidance. Next, Tax avoidance partially mediates the relationship between Institutional Ownership and Firm Value, and fully mediates between Economic CSR and Firm Value. The implications, for academics and practitioners, show that enforcing corporate governance requires the role of institutional ownership to supervise the determination of company managerial policies. Apart from that, the economic CSR program can reduce Tax Avoidance and is responded to positively by investors. The limitations of the research show that the constant value is significant, it requires additional variables in the model. Recommendations for further research can be explored by adding company performance, gender, and intellectual capital variables

Abstract
Our study, which covered the years 2008 to 2022, aimed to create ^autoregressive vectors^ to investigate the interrelationships between Corporate Social Responsibility, Greenhouse Gas net, Human Capital, Human Resource in Indonesia. We used data from the World Bank, OECD and Bank Republic Indonesia, we also conducted an analysis to explore the correlation between these variables. Our results showed that there are significant relationships between Corporate Governance Self-Assessment (CGS), Greenhouse Gas net (GHG), and Human Capital (HCPT) in Indonesia. The positive correlation between GHG and CGS suggests that as GHG emissions increase, the level of corporate governance self-assessment also increases. This finding implies that companies that prioritize reducing GHG emissions tend to have better corporate governance practices. Moreover, investing in reducing GHG emissions can have a positive impact on human capital development in Indonesia. However, the negative correlation between HCPT and CGS implies that an increase in human capital may result in a decrease in the level of corporate governance self-assessment. This finding highlights the importance of balancing investments in human capital with maintaining good corporate governance practices to ensure sustainable economic growth. Furthermore, promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) can enhance companies^ reputation and increase their brand value, which can positively impact their CGS. Therefore, it is essential for companies to prioritize CSR practices, invest in human capital development, and reduce GHG emissions to ensure sustainable economic growth and maintain good corporate governance practices in Indonesia.

Universitas Merdeka Malang
Abstract
The issue of regional inequality has gained significant prominence during the era of progress, driven by the goal of promoting equitable development and enhancing the well-being of all segments of society. As an integral part of Indonesia, Papua Province confronts intricate hurdles in addressing regional inequality. In response, the implementation of special autonomy status and fiscal decentralization as essential components of regional autonomy has been adopted. This study aims to scrutinize the impact of special autonomy and fiscal decentralization on regional inequality within Papua Province. Employing multiple linear regression analysis, the study models this relationship. The dataset used in the study spans the timeframe from 2011 to 2021 and has been sourced from reliable authorities, specifically the Central Bureau of Statistics for Papua Province and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The analytical results underscore that the grant of special autonomy status has exerted a noteworthy influence in diminishing regional inequality within Papua Province. Nevertheless, the unexpected finding is that fiscal decentralization has not substantially curtailed regional inequality within the region. These revelations provide a comprehensive comprehension of the roles played by fiscal decentralization and special autonomy in endeavors to alleviate regional inequality in Papua Province. The implications of these findings lay a pivotal groundwork for policymaking and developmental planning that foster inclusivity and sustainable progress within the Province of Papua.

Abstract
Dividends and corporate governance are linked. What needs to be clarified is the nature of the relationship: Do dividends complement, replace or result from governance practices? In that sense, governance is a set of mechanisms for decent returns to investors, and high dividends prove that the mechanisms are working. This study aims to investigate the results and alternative models of the relationship between dividends and corporate governance. The sample is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 2017-2021. The variables consist of corporate governance and dividend policy, as well as ROI, beta, sales growth, and size as control variables. The data collection method uses financial and annual reports of manufacturing companies obtained on the IDX web. Methods of data analysis using regression analysis. The result is that dividends are an outcome of corporate governance.

Poverty Inflation FDI Consumption and Economic Growth in Indonesia in the Vector Autoregressive Model Analysis Yahya Nusa- Anwar Sanusi- Fajar Supanto- Savitri- Suryaning Bawono
Universitas Merdeka Malang
Abstract
The difference in the results from previous studies related to the impact of inflation on poverty is strengthened by an increase in the money supply from direct investment, which is the motivation for this research. This study^s aim is to ascertain how poverty, inflation, and foreign investment affect consumption spending in Indonesia based on the 1997-2021 time series data. This study used the quantitative method of Vector Autoregression estimation, and using data sources from the World Bank. The data will be processed with econometric models. From the study^s findings, it may be inferred that overall consumption affects inflation, this can be seen from the Granger causality test which shows that this variable has a one-way causal relationship. The results of the same test also show that FDI has an effect on total consumption and conversely consumption has an effect on FDI, this is evident because the test results show a two-way causality relationship. However, the poverty variable has no effect on total consumption and vice versa, because according to the causality test, the variable obtains an insignificant probability value. However, the VECM results explain that poverty has an effect on total consumption, and it is also seen that the effect of consumption on inflation is due to the larger t-statistic value and has a positive relationship. This implies that the rate of inflation will increase the lower the level of consumption. However, the Impulse Reason test shows that poverty has a negative trend, this also happens to the FDI variable.

A Comprehensive Exploration of the Gender Pay Gap in Portugal^s Informal Economies Bambang Hadi Prabowo, Diah Rusminingsih, Suryaning Bawono, Ike Ratnasari

STIE Kertanegara Malang, Indonesia
Abstract
This research investigates the gender pay gap within Portugal^s informal economies, analyzing data spanning the years 2005 to 2020 using Vector Error Correction Models (VECM). The study focuses on four key variables: Employers (total), Wage and salaried workers (female), Wage and salaried workers (male), and Educational attainment at least completed upper secondary population 25+ on age. The findings reveal nuanced relationships among these variables- Educational Attainment (EA) positively impacts the total number of employers within Portugal^s informal economies. A significant correlation exists between EA and Wage and Salaried Workers (Female), albeit with complex dynamics. Similarly, EA correlates with Wage and Salaried Workers (Male), though the influence is less pronounced. EA also demonstrates a significant association with Educational Attainment at least completed upper secondary population 25+ (ET). These results underscore the multifaceted nature of the gender pay gap within informal economies, influenced by a variety of factors beyond education. Policymakers and stakeholders should consider these findings when designing strategies to promote gender equality in this critical sector, recognizing the need for comprehensive and context-specific approaches. Further research is encouraged to deepen our understanding of this persistent issue and inform evidence-based interventions.

Methodology/ Population - The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of ESG risk scores and annual reports of 22 companies listed on IDX ESG leaders for the 2018-2022 period with a total of 110 observations. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression.
Findings - The results of the study show that research and development affect firm value, meaning that the level of R&D can affect the value and sustainability of the company. Intellectual capital affects the value of the company, showing that increased productivity due to creativity, and expertise that comes from knowledge and is supported by good systems and relationships can improve the company. Meanwhile, environmental social governance does not affect company value because markets in developing countries are at the stage of economic development and development that pays more attention to the scale and speed of economic growth as well as financial indicators rather than environmental, social, and governance responsibilities. Leverage does no effect on firm value because changes in leverage tend not to affect stock prices in the market.

Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of being able to prove that the economic welfare of the community is related and has an influence on the existence of corporate social responsibility activities with the alignment of the concept of legitimacy. The findings in this study assume the existence of the Covid-19 health crisis as a research time series that has an impact on the global crisis. The effects of the global crisis caused companies to experience one of them: net sales declined and policies on corporate social activities changed. This study tries to link the variables of public ownership, and the amount of net sales of companies through disclosure of social responsibility with the economic welfare of the community. The sampling design in this study uses a list of manufacture companies included in the Kompas 100 index list for two consecutive years, namely 2020 and 2021, which is the period when the health crisis in Indonesia began. The results of this study are that the variables of public ownership structure and net sales index have a significant relationship with social responsibility disclosure. However, the disclosure of social responsibility is not significant to economic welfare. Public ownership will bring the company more attention to the surrounding community. Meanwhile, sales growth is used as a company measure to prosper company owners and benefit the community. With company policies that benefit the community, supporting the government improves economic welfare.
