Universitas Islam Bandung

Abstract

This Program is aimed at cassava farmers and the village community of Rende-West Bandung. The role of cassava farmers and the community in processed food businesses is very much needed considering the economic conditions, especially in the village of Rende, have decreased since the outbreak of Covid-19, meanwhile the local government has changed the direction of development by prioritizing recovery, especially in the economic sector. Farmers complain that it is difficult to sell their harvests, middlemen only buy part of it at a very low price so that the rest of the harvest is not utilized, then cassava is made as low-priced animal feed. As a result, farmers find it difficult to improve their welfare.
The purpose is so that the cassava harvest can be sold in the form of processed products, namely in the form of mocaf with the intention that it is not difficult to sell and so that the price is higher. These target audiences are those who really need and are willing to be fostered to pursue the manufacture of mocaf and are willing to be invited to be more creative and innovative in developing so that mocaf is of higher quality, the ultimate goal of which is the establishment of a sustainable mocaf business. The method of activity consists of mocaf flour tutorials & training, online and offline marketing tutorials and Islamic entrepreneurship briefing materials are inserted.
The results show that there are 7 participants who doing the mocaf business, with a partnership pattern where 1 participant becomes a producer as well as a container for other production results and is marketed online, so that all harvests are utilized and sold because mocaf can survive. for 1 year. The price of cassava did not appear to increase because the production of mocaf still uses cassava material from its own plantation and the amount of production is still limited. Marketing has been done online through the Lazada but has not been able to meet demand due to production constraints.

Abstract

This study aims to look at the portion and classification of green credit based on the provisions of the Indonesian financial services authority regulations. This research was conducted on banks that have provided green credit since 2018. The classification of green credit financing consists of 11 classifications. The results of the analysis of the green credit portion of total credit show that BRI bank has the largest portion, namely 57.34% (2019) and 63.88% (2020). The results of further analysis show that the largest portion of green credit is in the classification of MSME activities. Meanwhile, the least green credit financing is financing for climate change adaptation and Land and Water Biodiversity Conservation. The test results show that the low portion of green credit outside of MSME activities indicates a tendency for low environmental-friendly business activities or there is a possibility that the credit requirements proposed by environmentally sound companies to banks are still appropriate. Further research is expected to add to the identification of profiles of environmentally sound companies in Indonesia so that two points of view can be found between banking and environmentally sound companies.

Abstract

This study uses a survey technique with a mixed method which aims to evaluate the calculation of production costs to the profit made by MSMEs. Respondents of this study were 47 SMEs in the food and beverage business sector. This research was conducted by means of an online survey by distributing questionnaires, the results of which were further analyzed qualitatively and hypotheses were tested using a paired sample t test. The results of this study indicate that the level of understanding of respondents in calculating production costs to operating profit is low, this is evidenced by the results of hypothesis testing. The first hypothesis shows that there is no significant difference between the calculation of production costs calculated by MSME actors and calculations in accordance with accounting standards. While the second hypothesis shows that there is a significant difference between the calculation of profits calculated by MSME actors and calculations in accordance with accounting standards. The results of this study indicate that MSME actors need to be given assistance in determining production costs to determining profits, so that the accounting information produced can be trusted and can be used as decision making.

Bina Insani University

Abstract

Effects of Digital Marketing (DM) and Innovation (Inn) on Marketing Performance (MP), mediated by Competitive Advantage (CA) in the context of food and beverage micro businesses are not widely discussed and not well understood. This study aims to examine the effects of DM and Inn on MP mediated by CA. The unit analysis is food and beverage micro business owners in Bekasi Municipality, West Java Province, Indonesia. The respondents were 100 owners of food and beverage micro businesses and the sampling technique was the simple random sampling. The data analysis uses the PLS technique. The results show that DM and Inn had a positive effect on CA. DM had also a positive direct effect on MP. CA, however, did not mediate the DM and MP relationship. CA had less effect on MP (<0.3). Inn had no effect on MP. For the operational implications, food and beverage micro business owners need to implement DM to improve MP. They also need to implement DM and Inn to improve CA. As a conclusion, business owners need to maintain communication with customers through internet- based media, make customers experience speed and efficiency in information access about the products, make products content popular and relevant to current trends, deliver the products as promised and update information about the products on the market places. Besides, business owners also need to make some changes in the way they do business in more efficient and productive way to meet the customers^ needs and wants.

Knowledge is one of the most important factors of society economy development effort, especially for the targeted jamaah in this activity. Counseling activity was conducted through lecture and discussion. Analysis tool utilized in this research to measure the impact of this activity was pre-test and post-test. Based on this activity, we revealed that the main weakness of these farmers who are also part of jamaah in the effort to build their economy is the lack of knowledge on their farming activity on a narrow scope or agribusiness on a broader scope. We also revealed that before the counseling activity, the farmers level of knowledge was needed to be improved. After the counseling activity was conducted by providing these farmers, which also act as part of jamaah, with related and required theories, there is a significant improvement, which is expected to transform into vital force in building the economy of jamaah.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze how is the Islamic Banks provided financing behavior in Asia. This financing behavior is interesting to study because economic conditions do not influence it and even contribute to the stability of the financial system and the economy. Currently, Islamic Banks are still relied on to provide financing to their customers, most of whom are in the real business sector, according to Islamic principles in the halal business sector. Using a sample of Islamic Banks in 7 Asian countries, based on the 2013 - 2019 period we find that Islamic Bank financing (OC) in Asia is influenced by the capital adequacy ratio (CAR), the level of non performing financing (NPF) and economic growth (GDP). Cointegration testing through the Johansen Cointegration Test shows that in the four variables, namely OC, CAR, NPF, and GDP, there is a long-term or cointegrated relationship, so we use VECM analysis to see the effect between variables. In the long term, CAR, NPF and GDP significantly influence OC. The biggest variable contributions to OC are CAR, GDP, and NPF
