Abstract
The global commitment to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has become a concern for all countries in the world, including Muslim Southeast Asian countries. The eighth goal of the SDGs is to promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all. This study aims to determine environmental policies in sustainable economic growth in Indonesia and Negara Brunei Darussalam. This study uses an integrative literature review. This research shows that the role of environmental policy in Indonesia and Negara Brunei Darussalam is quite good in managing the provision and use of environmental resources in a way that supports increasing prosperity and welfare, for present and future generations.
