INTERACTIVE E-BOOKLETS AS DIGITAL LEARNING MEDIA INNOVATION TO FACILITATE 21ST CENTURY LEARNING

Abstract

21st century learning requires innovative and interactive digital learning media to support the various competencies that students must have. Lack of innovation in the utilization of technology in learning can cause students to be unable to achieve learning objectives. Digital learning media has developed rapidly and has high potential in supporting the learning process. One of the learning media that is in accordance with the development of digital technology is an interactive e-booklet. The purpose of this research is to identify the needs in developing digital learning media in the form of interactive e-booklets. The type of research used is qualitative research. Data collection techniques through observation and questionnaire. The results showed that the learning media used in schools are material power points (79.5%), learning videos (28.2%), 2D images (23.1%), and torsos (5.1%). A total of 74.4% of students agreed to use interactive e-booklet media. The results of this study can be the basis for teachers to create and implement digital learning media in the form of interactive e-booklets to facilitate 21st century learning.
