Abstract
The problem of cancer in Indonesia is recorded every year as many as 100 new cases occur among 100,000 residents. Sufferers of this disease were found to be in an advanced stage. The search for new drug sources to produce anticancer compounds from various sources continues. One source that can be used is marine biota. Spirulina platensis algae is a type of microalgae that is a rich source of nutrients and its extract has potential as an antioxidant, antimicrobial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antitumor. In fact, several reports note that chlorophyll a derivatives also have potential as antimutagens, apoptosis inductors and photosensitizers for PDT (Photodynamic Cancer Therapy). Spirulina plantesis with apoptotic compounds as anti-cancer (Antineoplastic) with a binding affinity result of -7.4, if the results are very negative, then it is certain that the natural compound is a good compound. In the visualization that focuses on the Post View 2D ligand, a diagram is obtained that depicts the interaction between the ligand (Apoptosis) and the target protein and also obtains the hydrogen bonds, hydrophobic bonds and amino acid residues of the target protein. It has been proven that apoptosis is useful as an anti-cancer compound.
