family-friendly programs related to the application of government policies. The
family-friendly program needs to be supported by superiors and local organizational
culture. If this is not done, it cannot develop well and remains an antecedent of
work-family conflict and can affect the happiness of lecturers. If institutions, both
state and private, can develop this family-friendly program, one of which is by
providing work flexibility for their employees to be able to work from anywhere, it
can increase the happiness of lecturers. Research on this family-friendly program is
still rarely conducted even though it can reduce work-family conflict and lecturer
happiness. A flexible working hour system can reduce work-family conflict and
improve the quality of life of individuals in balancing work-family. Perhaps for further
researchers, they can research this topic to see its dynamics on lecturer happiness.
