Abstract
The ongoing global energy crisis, driven by the reliance on fossil fuels and increasing annual energy demands, has highlighted the urgent need for sustainable energy solutions. The United Nations^ 2030 Agenda, particularly SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), emphasizes transitioning to renewable, non-polluting energy sources to mitigate the adverse effects of fossil fuels. In this context, electric vehicles (EVs) have emerged as a promising technology for achieving a sustainable transport sector. This research focuses on understanding the factors influencing Female Gen Z^s intention to use electric motorcycles in Indonesia, specifically examining the roles of environmental concern and perceived usefulness, with attitude towards electric motorcycles as a mediating variable. The study leverages the significant interest in environmental issues among young Indonesians, where 77.4% of youth express concern about environmental matters. The investigation aims to elucidate how these factors collectively impact the adoption of electric motorcycles, offering insights for policymakers and businesses to promote sustainable transportation and improve air quality. By addressing these key variables, the research contributes to the broader efforts of achieving environmental sustainability and reducing urban air pollution.
