Abstract
The dimensionality of satisfaction is an important theoretical issue, which has received considerable attention in scientific researches so far. However, very limited literatures have been focused in the context of development planning. Building upon the work of ECT model, this study examines satisfaction dimensions of stakeholders in the context of the implementation of development planning forum. A total of 150 respondents from 11 districts in Kutai Timur Regency participate in data collecting. The pilot tests confirmed that all 35 measured items are reliable and valid. This study employs the Confirmatory Factor Analysis to analyze the data. The survey result indicates that 68.67 percent of respondents are satisfied with the forum so far. Meanwhile for the satisfaction dimensions, the results demonstrate that all measured items are grouped into 7 components. These seven factors provide support to the theory of ECT that the dimension of satisfaction in the context of development planning forum also consists of performance expectancy, general satisfaction, confirmation, conditions of support, joy, perceived usefulness, and interest. The study also elaborates the implications of research results for decision makers and provides recommendations for further research.
