Abstract

Culture is a way of life that develops and is shared by a group of people and is passed down from generation to generation. Culture is made up of many complex elements, including religious systems. Traditional culture of inter-nation marriage often invites many people^s questions. Of course, the most frequently asked questions relate to the customary culture of marriage
This mixed marriage has its own consequences, namely the enactment of legal norms from both parties. Traditional marriages between nations occur a lot in Indonesia in general and especially in the people of Aceh, including the city of Sabang. The city of Sabang is a destination and attraction for foreign people to come to this area and even get married, this is because the geographical location of the area is very strategic, supported by the condition of a very open, and tolerant society. Mixed marriage is one of the most common marriages among the people of Sabang. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze interethnic cultural customs, to analyze the supporting and inhibit factors of interethnic customary marriage culture. The focus of this research is to find cultural adaptations to interethnic marriage customs. civilization and community behavior as well as the character of the traditional marriage. This study usesing a qualitative approach and the nature of the research used is descriptive analysis.
