Limitations in my reseach,
The research focuses on MSMEs within specific leading sectors (culinary, fashion, etc.), which have distinctive characteristics and market conditions. This may limit the applicability of the results to other sectors where factors influencing financial performance might differ significantly. Since the study is confined to Semarang City, its findings may not fully translate to MSMEs in other regions. Different cities or regions may have varying economic dynamics, regulatory environments, and consumer behaviors that can affect the relevance of intellectual capital to financial performance. The study included only MSMEs with complete financial statements, potentially excluding informal or smaller businesses that may lack comprehensive financial records. Such businesses might experience different influences on financial performance, especially in sectors with less formalized financial practices.
