Thank you very much for the question, ibu Dr Rusmalia Dewi.
Here^s my answer, in regard to my research:
In the task expansion phase, different groups work together and get creative,
using joint leadership and new resources to support regional projects. For IMT-GT
cooperation, this can be seen in South Sumatra^s focus on sectors like agriculture
and sustainable rubber production. They join international exhibitions and look for
investors to grow their economy. A good example is the ^Rubber Cities^ project,
where Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand work together to make rubber industries
more sustainable, using each country^s strengths.
On the other hand, the task consolidation phase focuses on strengthening
organizations and policies by sharing tasks, using legal tools, and building
expertise. A field example of this is the University Network (UNINET) in IMT-GT,
where universities from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand work as a team to help
create and support policies. This network brings knowledge to IMT-GT Working
Groups, especially in areas like human resources and agriculture. Task
consolidation also shows in South Sumatra^s alignment with IMT-GT^s second
blueprint (2022-2026), which builds on past work to ensure cooperation in a
structured, sustainable way.

Good research, I read and am interested in the statement ^This research found that
the South Sumatra government implemented IMT-GT through two stages: Task
Expansion and Task Consolidation, which answered the program^s challenges.^ What
do you think is an example of its application in the field?
