Digital Registration Innovation in E-government as Embodiment of Smart Society Concept

Abstract

The rampant misuse of the internet and digital technology in Indonesia. The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information provides routine activities in the form of digital literacy. The government has created a special e-government platform for digital literacy that can be accessed by all groups from anywhere. The dense community activities and time constraints, the government created an online registration system. Targets and sustainability factors are things that must be considered so that the e-government that is created can present continuous activities and show the amount of user data. Researchers are interested in taking this object because its own uniqueness and becomes an innovation in the study of e-government model development. The innovation analyzed is that this platform has an event registration process using barcode scanning and there is a user classification to participate in the digital literacy events held. The use of related digital technology and the involvement of many people who use it, this supports a new concept, namely Smart Society. Smart Society is one dimension of a smart city where there is innovation and sustainability through interactive education, community participation and the use of information technology. The purpose of this study is as a study of the development of an e-government model with innovation from an online registration system as a manifestation of the concept of a smart society. This study is presented with a qualitative descriptive analysis method, namely using a literature review taken from journals, books and articles on the website. There is also a discussion of e-government with a case study of the Pandu Digital website after conducting system testing with the Black Box Testing method. The results of this study are in the form of study materials and discussions about the innovation of the registration system in the Pandu Digital e-government which is connected to the concept of realizing a smart society.
