Abstract
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of individuals suffering from gout arthritis or uric acid disease worldwide. The diagnosis of uric acid disease is generally conducted using a blood test. However, not everyone is willing to undergo this test due to a fear of needles. This research aims to create a new innovation as an alternative to
non-invasive test for measuring uric acid level through urine pH. The system uses microcontroller and a pH sensor, with the microcontroller serving as the core that manages everything. The sensor measures urine^s pH, which is then converted into uric acid values in milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) using regression analysis. The uric acid level is then displayed on a LCD screen. Additionally, the device is IoT-based, allowing it to be connected to a website for easy monitoring by both patients and healthcare professionals. The accuracy of this system is 95.54%. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of better and evidence-based diagnostic protocols in the medical field. Further improvement such as giving more data training is expected to be done in the future so it will increase the accuracy of the system to measure uric acid level.
