The Role of Management Commitment in Encouraging Green Innovation Towards Sustainable SMEs of Padang City Padang State Politechnic Abstract The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of management commitment to green innovation with demographic characteristics as a moderating variable at SMEs of Padang City. The research method used is a quantitative approach. Data was collected through a questionnaire using a Likert scale (1-5). The research population is Small and Medium enterprises in the food and beverage sector in the city of Padang. The sample size was 86 creative industry managers in the food and beverage sector. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique is a Structural Equation Model with PLS software as a data processing tool. The stage of data processing is: creating a structural model, Individual item reliability test, Internal consistency test, Discriminant validity test, Structural model evaluation, and hypothesis test. The research results show that management commitment influences green innovation demographic characteristics do not influence green innovation and demographic characteristics do not mediate commitment and green innovation.
