Abstract

To restore public interest in public transportation, a way is needed to explore public interest in public
transportation itself. The purpose of this paper is to test the stability and reliability of Trans Bandar Lampung (Trans BL)
bus service quality in measuring public interest in using public transportation. The research methodology used both
qualitative and qualitative approaches. Survey research with an electronic questionnaire containing 59 question items
succeeded in capturing the interest of 526 respondents of the Bandar Lampung city community participating in the study.
The analysis method uses Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with SEM-AMOS. Findings - The 10 dimensions of the
Bandar Lampung Transqual (BL Transqual) service quality model were tested for stability and reliability as a measuring
tool in the study. In addition to contributing to the literature, this research is also useful for stakeholders and transportation
planners in making decisions on policies to reoperate urban public transport services in the city of Bandar Lampung. This
research can be a motivation for other researchers in taking the basic framework for the development of urban public
transport in the future.
