The Effect of Organizational Change on Work Culture and Job Satisfaction At the Aceh Ministry of Religion Office Universitas Merdeka Malang Abstract The simplification of the bureaucracy mandated by President Joko Widodo in 2019 for all government agencies through trimming the structural levels of echelon officials which are equated to functional positions. It is hoped that the mechanism for cutting officials through a process of equalizing positions will have a positive impact on improving performance and service to the community. From the apparatus side, this effort is expected to motivate functional officials to achieve credit scores through increased performance, competency and achievement. At the Ministry of Religion of Aceh Province, the equalization of positions begins in December 2020. This change is expected to create a conducive organizational culture through ongoing changes so as to improve public services.
