The research methodology employed is literature review and analysis of relevant data. Zakat plays a significant role in poverty alleviation and economic growth efforts in Indonesia. Through wealth redistribution, zakat helps reduce economic disparities and enhance the well-being of the needy. Additionally, zakat stimulates economic growth by boosting the purchasing power of the poor and developing the micro and small-scale sectors.
