Abstract
this research aims to explore and identify students^ approach to minimize the plagiarism result. The method used is descriptive method with a sample of 241 students^ undergraduate thesis and final report from accounting department of State Polytechnic of Malang in 2020. The plagiarism test itself is conducted with Turnitin. Furthermore, before the document is tested, the researchers will first skim over it to make sure that there is no cheat to be found. The result is 139 documents need to be sent back to the students, since it is not feasible to be tested while 29 documents did not pass the plagiarism tolerance of 25%. It can be concluded from this result that students, particularly students in their last year of college in accounting department in state polytechnic of malang, needs to be more aware of how to construct a report in a constructive way and at the same time comply with the academic integrity.
